we are living in a world where every thing seems to be changing around us , however the past is strong in our mind , that we chose to acknowledge these changes once in a while only !! look at the buying process , everything is topsy turvy there are no set rules for the same , no waiting for occasions , no driving through traffic , no need to travel abroad to buy selected products . the digital  world  is now making  consumers bite into categories , which were never bought  in the manner , that its being bought now , that's Impulsive   , so its an  anytime , anywhere ,any reason buying world now ! so like the chocolates off yesteryears , the new age chocolates are dresses /handsets/shoes  etc  , won't be surprised , if it becomes an Audi /benz in 10 years , or is it already that way ?? !!!

2017 , before it ends , has been one eventful year , quite a journey by itself , here goes a gist of the journey ! From established to the New : the year began with an assignment in a New  setup , this after a decent run with a very good Indian setup , left all established threads and had moved on , smaller setup  , where work had to be largely done by everyone , and not a selected few :) ! , worked at fixing the positioning dilemma  , business started trickling in , fixed some tech aspects , made VC pitches myself  , enjoyed the stint as along with the team we got things moving !   ... From something to Nothing :: .... then sudden closure of another assignment happened which was under discussion for almost 6 months , and thus was headed to a new assignment outside the country , so left the new setup and was headed to foreign shores , almost had packed up and was ready to fly , suddenly a  very unprofessional mail came saying no role due to " restructuring", leaving me

As we walk into another new year 2018 ( time does fly in a bullet train ) , here is a quick take on what could life look on our planet after 100 years  Earth will be buzzing with population of around 12 billion  from around 7 billion currently , making every resource scarce and fought for or over valued  Robots vs Humans -  men will do the "thinking" job mostly  , and the robots or AI will take over the "Doing" part. New Diseases due to increased life span beyond 100 years , will have its own set off challenges , current diseases cure would have been found . While we see old/legacy  brands getting their strategy right on the Social media or getting better in new age platforms , or some  trying to reinvent  , there are categories where the rug is being pulled out of the big brands feet , some slowly ,some fast !
