 Some work  rules which might border on being a "myth" ! , and time for some introspection | rethink  :: Age Barrier for a job   ( old doesnt mean incapable of adding value to a role  , and young  doesnt mean success in a ro Same  industry exposure needed for a role  ( opportunity loss of  a fresh pair of eyes and mind opportunity  ,unless its a technical role )  Tier 1 Mba needed ( no gurantee for success , tier 2/3 can outshine too)  All presentation has to b in ppt form ( can be handled in xcel sheets with equal impact) All set rules have to be followed ( rules have to b flexible and as per current times )  sitting late at work , means hard work ! high flying Degrees are   important  ( yes for the first few jobs , for the rest your attitude / skills  and performance will matter )  please add any any "rules" which needs to be challenged or need a rethink !.  #Cheers to some new ways of  thinking , AC ( after corona) hopefully :)   #lessons #learnings #ponder #jobs

Which ever way  it is read and understood , its clear after some long personal experiences that , what matters  — most to succeed at work   , are  the following ::  Ability to be positive and have  strong attitude against all odds  abilities to  perform  ability to take multiple failures and make a STRONG come back   ability to take on Change of functions and locations                     ability to learn a new trade or business fast  Ability to stay neutral and away from office politics  Ability to the do the "right things" against all odds again, as per rules !                                                                                                        AC , after carona era has seen a great increase in the rush for digital platforms for buying ( ecommerce) , similarly digital marketing agencies have also seen a mad rush in terms of business , however the number of digital mktg shops that have mushroomed are many , so not sure whether  all are very busy or the big and medium guys only have got the big share of the pie  ! Digital marketing unfortunately tends to work on herd mentality , not sure how it  will help in getting business up with so much of rush . Everyone knows the most active keywords , and  everyone bids for the top ones only , as its safe . Probable winning moves against business slowdown -- Move 1) "renewed" execution rigor with urgency  Move 2) "revisit"  your distribution and fix with speed the gaps or opportunity  Move  3) "concentrated" advertising ,not wasteful one  Move 4) team "recognition" for their innovative efforts and fighting spirit !
